Video Tutorial for App Help Centre
As part of improving the Help Centre experience, I created a video tutorial to replace the outdated static screenshots of the app. The goal was to provide users with a clearer, more engaging, and accessible way to understand the app’s functionality.
Compared to screenshots, the video tutorial offered several UX benefits:
Clarity – users can follow real interactions step by step, reducing confusion.
Efficiency – tasks are demonstrated in context, saving users time.
Engagement – motion and voice-over make the learning experience more dynamic and appealing.
Accessibility – the tutorial is easier to understand for non-native speakers or users with a limited technical background.
Consistency – the video stays relevant even if minor UI changes occur, unlike screenshots that require frequent updates.
Confidence – users feel more supported when they can see exactly how the feature works in practice.
This upgrade transformed the Help Centre from static documentation into an interactive learning tool, significantly enhancing the overall user experience. ​​​​​​​
